Imphal, November 24:
All India Students' Federation expressed strong concern over the prolong closure of educational institutions due to the cease work strike of teachers.
While lambasting the Government for its indifferent attitude and callousness in bringing an amicable solution to the crisis, the student body also remarked that abstaining from duty for an extended period of time will create confusion and strain the student-teacher relation.
The student body in such a situation appealed to the teachers to resort to other methods of agitation and restore normal academic atmosphere in schools and colleges.
Meanwhile, the AISF urged the State Government, especially Council pf Higher Secondary Examination to review its policy of allowing form submission after payment of late fines.
The AISF also questioned the policy of allowing form submission twice after late fees are furnished.
It alleged that the policy is aimed at enhancing the financial position of the Council and does not warrant the welfare of the student community.
